WHY I MAKE FILMS:
It wasn’t until I saw Julia Kwan’s Eve and the Firehorse that I felt myself reflected on screen and part of a bigger community. That feeling of inclusion inspired me to create films to continue mirroring a different perspective. Because when you are able to communicate a sense of belonging, filmmaking becomes much more than a method of entertainment, it becomes hope.
